Red or White?

Hi there,

Soho Sally could use some help. She's been invited to become the brand for a South African Wine sold in the UK (I know, I KNOW so international and tres wonderful), however, at seven years old, she's much, much too young to even consider it. So she's talking to the other inhabitants of her world to find the person who'd be the perfect fit. Sort of like Cindarella and the glass slipper, only there's no prince here (also no castle and no slipper, but let's not get all picky and stuff.)

So with that in mind, this is Holly and her dog daisy. Holly is a late twenty-something who's maybe a little bit messy and clumsy, but besides that endearing in every way. She has an office job, but dreams of greater things while picking up her dry cleaning and typing away at her desk all day. She lives in NYC, probably on the upper east side, with a couple of roommates who are also on the lower rungs of the law/business/corporate ladder. Her apartment is small, small, small. But there's just enough room to cook and entertain a tiny bit.

Daisy is a dog. I love her. Holly loves her. Like Holly, she really, really, Really means well. It's just that sometimes things smell good and she makes a mess trying to get to them. Like the groceries. And the pizza, and the flowers Holly got for her birthday which she put on the glass topped coffee table near the wine glasses and, well, you get the idea.

So what do you think? The target audience is cosmopolitan women ages 20-something to 30 something. Do you fit the bill? Can you see Holly on the label of a wine bottle?

Not part of the target audience? What do you think? What 'bout Daisy? How bout their names? How bout their clothes?

Anything else?
